Summary: Woodrow Wilson was an idealist, ultimately wanting a better and more peaceful world. He didn't want Germany to get away scot free for their actions but also didn't want them to be punished too severely. If anything, justly. His goal was to strengthen democracy as he believed this meant less chances of war. He also believed nations should co operate for peace (international cooperation). He was the producer of the 14 point plan however, many people in Britain and France disagreed with his plan. Two of the more pro-dominate points being self determination and the league of nations.
